We wanted to take Spalding from an everyday household name, to an iconic brand that evokes the true basketball lifestyle and what it means to be a #TRUEBELIEVERS

A NEW WEBSITE PLATFORM WAS LAUNCHED AS THE HOME FOR  THE TRUE BELIEVERS CAMPAIGN: truebelievers.spalding.com. THE WEBSITE IS HOME TO THE NICKNAME GENERATOR , A GALLERY CONTAINING ALL SPALDING SOCIAL CONTENT, HIGHLIGHTED PRODUCTS, AND UPCOMING EVENTS.

THE NICKNAME GENERATOR ALLOWED CONSUMERS TO ANSWER DIFFERENT QUESTIONS ABOUT THEIR GAME, AND RECEIVE ONE OF OVER 500+ NICKNAMES. 
CONSUMERS WERE THEN ABLE TO SHARE THEIR NICKNAME VIA THEIR SOCIAL CHANNELS FOR A CHANCE TO GO to the NBA FINALS. 


THE NICKNAME GENERATOR WAS AMPLIFIED WITH DIGITAL VIDEOS FEATURING OUR SPONSORED ATHLETES DAMIAN LILLARD AND DEMAR DEROZAN. 


A PERISCOPE PREGAME CHAT WITH DAMIAN AND DEMAR ALLOWED FANS TO TALK TO THEIR FAVORITE PLAYERS WHILE TOTALING 8,000 LIVE LIKE DURING THE BROADCAST FOR SPALDING ON THEIR FIRST USE OF THE PLATFORM.


SPALDING ALSO RELEASED A VIDEO FOR SOCIAL , LEVERAGING
A FREE-STYLE RAP DAMIAN CREATED FOR THE CAMPAIGN. 


CREATED SPALDING "MINIFESToS" leveraging footage of DEMAR AND DAMIAN ALONG WITH CAMPAIGN LINES AS UNIQUE CONTENT TO BE SHARED BY THE BRAND AS WELL ASTHE PLAYERS VIA SOCIAL THEIR SOCIAL CHANNELS.
